The most important part first

EhrlichWetter sets no cookies, uses no tracking, no analytics services, no ad networks, and embeds no content that builds user profiles. That's why there's no cookie banner here either.

Server logs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

When the page is accessed, our CDN provider (BUNNYWAY d.o.o., Slovenia – processing within the EU) processes technically necessary data: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent. This data is used exclusively for operation, troubleshooting, and defense against attacks, and is not combined with other data.

Hosting of content

The website's static content (pages, scripts, images, weather data) is hosted at SCALEWAY SAS, France (processing within the EU) and fetched from there by the CDN. Your browser connects exclusively to the CDN (BUNNYWAY d.o.o.), not to Scaleway; personal data such as your IP address does not reach Scaleway.

Local storage

Settings you make yourself (watchlist, solar/balcony-PV configuration) are stored locally by your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device, is neither transmitted nor evaluated by us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. Nothing is stored without using these features.

Location lookup

If you use the location feature, your location is used exclusively locally in the browser to select the nearest city. It never leaves your device.

Your rights

You have the rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection) as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
